Stop-start jams on the PIE, 33°C afternoons, short school runs and long idling in car parks are some of the hardest conditions an engine can face. Each cold start and every hot crawl rubs microscopic metal from cylinder walls, piston rings, bearings and cam lobes.

What is XADO?
XADO is a European lubricant and engine-treatment brand founded in 1991, now produced under XADO Germany and XADO Lube B.V. (Netherlands) licences and sold in more than 100 countries. It is best known for its patented Revitalizant® technology, which is designed to form a protective ceramic-metal layer on worn friction surfaces.
Is XADO an oil or an additive?
Both. XADO Atomic Metal Conditioners and EX120 Revitalizants are treatments added to your existing oil or fluid. XADO also makes fully formulated engine oils (Atomic Oil, Luxury Drive and LX AMC Black Edition) with revitalizant already blended in, so you get the treatment with every oil change.
Does XADO change my oil's viscosity?
According to XADO, the revitalizant does not change the viscosity or characteristics of the oil — the oil simply carries it to friction surfaces such as cylinder walls, piston rings, bearings and cam lobes.
